Bitterly cold day – waited 25 minutes for the U7’s to finish their second game

1st half team – Luke, Charlie, Joe W, Karl, Kameron, Ryan, Joe M, Ben, Callum

Joe lost the coin toss, Hindley opted to run the ball in

Joe M started the tackling with Ryan following with a good strong tackle, Callum next and then Karl knocked them into touch

Hand Over

Joe W started the first run for Heath then followed by Joe M who gave a good hand off, Charlie, Kam and then Karl finished off with a try 1-0

Ben made a good tackle on Hindley, round the legs which was followed by the whole team in for the next tackle and then managed to push Hindley into touch.

Hand Over

Ryan ran the first ball in which was followed by a great run from Luke and also Ben. Callum was held just off the line. Joe W called back for a false start so played again and touched down on the line but not good enough for a score on the board! Faithful Ryan then ran it in 2-0

Hindley scored straight from 1st play of the ball 2-1

Kam ran the first ball in and was injured but recovered quickly after fabulous 1st aid skills from Andrea, video camera in hand! Joe M then made a good run which took the team over to the far side of the pitch/try line. Charlie, Kam and Ben all tried to score in the same corner to no avail. Karl then ran in for try number 3 for Heath 3-1

Hindley where met by the whole Heath team in for the 1st attack. Karl and Ryan then combined for the next 2 tackles before Karl giving a crunching tackle which awarded him the Best Tackler trophy. The whole team continued to combine and tackle which held Hindley off just before the line and then managed to push them into touch on the next. 2 further group tackles held Hindley off the line again (how many tackles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hand Over

Ryan then ran through 3 of the opposition before being tackled. Joe , Charlie and Kam gave good runs and then Luke scored 4-1

Kam and Karl put in 2 good tackles and then the team managed to keep Hindley from scoring right on the line - HALF TIME
