Folly Lane 7 - 6 Thatto Heath Crusaders u8's
Captain Adam Aindow
Folly Lane won the toss and kicked off, It looked like our lads had missed their weetabix and Folly Lane scored three tries, even so there was some good runs from Charlie, Adam, Connor and Mark. The first try for Thatto Heath came following a great run by Luke, Folly Lane’s turn and they managed another try, however after a great run by Mark Thatto Heath scored another try. Folly Lane scored again but thanks to some great tackling put in by our lads and some more great runs by Matthew, Karl, and Lewis, Ryan’s next run resulting in another great try. Following some more smashing runs the half time score was 6:5
Thatto Heath started the second half with some great runs from Michael, Ben and Callum, the solid tackling ending in Folly Lane knock on. A brilliant run by Kameron ending in a try. More good runs for Thomas and Joseph who both put in some strong tackles. Despite some more string runs from Callum Thatto Heath were not able to catch Folly Lane.
Overall the lads did a great job and should be proud that they remained calm in some difficult situations.
Final score 7:6
