Ashton Bear 58-6 Thatto Heath Crusaders u12 Girls
This was the first game of the season for our brand new u12s squad, with some of the girls only having joined us a couple of weeks ago. To say some of the girls were nervous is an understatement!
The fact that this was the first time that they had played together as a team showed early on with some mis-placed passes that allowed Ashton to establish an early lead. However, once they found the rhythm the girls caused the well-drilled Ashton side some problems. The girls played much better in the second half, completing many more sets and competing well in defence. The final score does not reflect the girls’ hard work.
Well done today one and all. The future is definitely in safe hands. WELL DONE GIRLS!
